Men Nailed Down in Coffins and Buried Alive. Horrid stories are told , janenfci the recent invasion of Formosa by the Chinese. These added to the hbrrdrs of the situation. All the sick who werd 'supposed to. be dying were Rustled into coffins and buried before 7 they ■were cold*' Soldiers were free'n forcing the lids, o£ coffins down 1 on victims who were piteouely- drying for ■water, but the fids were nailed fast and the living rmen : hiirried away to burial.
