MAHARAHARA ROAD BOARD.

(To The Editor.) Sib,— l think that it is near time that the Maharahara Road Board resigned and & new board was put in their place. They are spending our thirds and rates in law. Of the jobs they are letting some of them nave been let in private. lam paying £2 15s an acre for land, and I stand no chance in getting a job from them, but perhaps I am better without their jobs. T don't think that it is fair for a board to give jobs to certain people all the year round. .One man has got a job of metalling about two chains, and he spoilt about 30 chains, and another man got the job of repairing it. You can see how the cat jumps — Yours &c, T, Looney. Maharahara, October 18.
