GREEK REQUISITION
Government Takes Over Large
N.Z. Press Association—Copyright Rec. 10.30 a.m. .LONDON, Dec. 23. The Greek Government has requisitioned all cement factories throughout Greece and the country's largest industrial concern, the chemical fertiliser and glassworks in Piraeus, says the Associated Press correspondent in Athens. Authorised by recent legislation, Government control is an initial step in the nation's reconstruction plan. British undertakings operating in Greece are affected by the Greek Government's decision to withdraw for two years all privileges granted to foreign enterprises, says Keuters Athens correspondent! The decision is related to arrangements for the restoration of Greece, and it is understood it will be applied to all foreign firms, without distinction.
