AUSTRALIAN SUGAR DUE Westview Park, Park Line steamer, is due to-morrow from Queensland with a cargo of sugar. She will take the berth now occupied by the Colonial Sugar Refining Co. steamer Tambua at Chelsea when it is vacated. (U.S.S. Co.) Port Philip, Port Line motor ship, which sailed from London on October 14, is due at Wellington to discharge about the middle of next month. She will come to Auckland to complete. (F.C.A.) Karitane, Union Company freighter, is due with a cargo of flour from Adelaide to-morrow. (U.S.S. Co.) Tekoa is expected to arrive from Brisbane on Sunday to load for the United Kingdom. She will sail early next month. (N.Z.S. Co.) Two vessels belonging to the Canterbury Steam Shipping Co.. the Breeze and the Gale, have been returned to their owners after nearly five years' service with the New Zealand and United States Navies. Both ships were engaged for the first 12 months of the war in minesweeping round the New Zealand coast, and later performed anti-submarine, convoy screening and escort duties.
