PRIESTS LONG SERVICE
GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATED P.A. WELLINGTON, this day. Two priests of the Redemptorist Order, Father John Creag and Father Thomas O'Connor, have just celebrated the golden jubilee of their ministry. . Both are now attached to St. Gerard's, Wellington, and have served two terms in New Zealand, during which they have conducted missions in all parts of the country. Both priests are now 75 years of age and have served in Ireland, the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand. Father O'Connor first came to New Zealand 40 years ago and during the first world war he was a chaplain with the British. Forces in France for four years. Father Creag was vicar apostolic of Western Aus-" tralia.
