SALVATION ARMY LEADER
AUSTRAIiIA-X.Z. VISIT P.A. WELLINGTON, this day. General George * Carpenter, supreme leader of the Salvation Army, will leave London next Friday by air for Australia and New Zealand, where he will conduct campaigns in the main cities. He is due to arrive at Auckland on January 3, 1946, and wiil conduct a series of five day 'meetings in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and Wellington in turn.
