GROWTH IN MEMBERSHIP
INSTITUTE OF ELECTRICIANS Steady growth in membership was favourably commented on by the president, Mr. F. F, Gilmore, at the halfyearly meeting of the council of the New Zealand Institute of Electricians, held recently In Palmerston North. To dite there were 18 branches established an- 1 . there was every prospect of . jore bilrg formed, said Mr. Gilmore. Branch remits for presentation at the 1946 conference were discussed and grouped for circulation to all brandies. The council was unanimous in stressIng the need for more publicity in cases of prosecutions for breaches of .the wiring regulations and in cases where materials and accessories of poor quality W lt e was decided to hold the 1946 conference In Wellington la March.
