Alleged Massacre Of Large Groups Of People

The Albanian Premier, M. Hoxha, at a Press conference, accused Greece of "every conceivable provocation against Albania," sa3's the Associated Press correspondent in Tirana.
"Albania, if she is attacked, will fight to a man to repel the invader," said M. Hoxha. He added that the Greek Government had been agitating for the return of South Albania. The provocation included the massacres of large groups of people. Albania was friendly towards Greece as a whole and would like to maintain good relations, but they were impossible so long as Greece was trying to take Albanian land. 'M. Hoxha dismissed the prospect of a Balkan federation as impracticable. He added that Albania wanted to retain her complete independence and sovereignty.
