TRUCK DRIVER KILLED
P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Injuries from which he died about two hours later were suffered by Mr. J. McLean, aged 40, of Waitara, a painter and paperhanger, when the truck he was driving collided with a car driven by Mr. H. Roberts, of New Plymouth, on the main road a short distance north of New Plymouth last evening. A passenger in the truck, Mark Soffe, aged 17, of Waitara, and Mr. Roberts were admitted to the hospital with slight injuries. Mr. McLean was a married man with one child.
