WAREHOUSE RAID
SECOND IN FEW* 1 MONTHS
CARPET AND RUGS TAKEN
For the second time within a few months, thieves broke into Tylers' furniture warehouse in Anzac Avenue last night. A carpet and some floor rugs' valued at £75 were stolen.
Entrance was gained by forcing the front door. It was evident that the thieves were concerned only with stealing the carpet and rugs, for they did not even make a search in the office. On the last occasion a carpet worth £40 was taken by the thieves, who forced a rear window.
