The list of trialists indicates that the side may be quite a youthful one. but there is a good nucleus of experienced players, and it should be possible to develop a first-class team. At first glance it looks as if the tourists should have a heaw, very vigorous pack, and the selectors' chief difficulty with the forwards may be that of elimination.
There is plenty of speed on tap among the trialist backs. The hardest task may be finding top-line inside backs. However, this first comb-out of prospects justifies the view that the team will be excellent.
