OUT OF TWO CUPS
After continued backing, ; which resulted in his becoming outright favourite for the Melbourne Cup, Sinus was withdrawn from the race recently. He was scratched from the Caulfield Cup on the lame day. Sirius has developed a weakness in the tendon of his off foreleg and his trainer, E. Fisher, .stated that if his preparation fo/the cups was continued he would break down irreparably.
