OPENING OF SEASON MATINEE NEXT SATURDAY The Auckland Trotting Club will open the 1943-1946 season in the North Island next Saturday at a matinee meeting at Alexandra Park. The committee has provided the stake money amounting to £750, and there will also be a race for trophies. The Green Lane Handicap will be run in divisions, with £150 for each division, and the Remuera Handicap will be split into three separate events, £150 for each race.
