B.N.Z. SHARES FIRMER TONE GENERALLY STEAD! Steady trading at mainly late rates was done on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day, but the gilt-edged section was quiet. Bank of New Zealand shares rose 4d to £2 10/4, with buyers staying in at £2 10/3. In line with recent advances in retail stores G. J. Coles were placed at £3 12/6, a gain of 6d.
