SCANDINAVIAN CLUB
The fact that the shadow of war had been lifted from the Scandinavian countries was mentioned by Mr. F. T. Rostgard at the annual meeting of the Scandinavian Club last evening.
The financial statement showed the result of the club's efforts on behalf of the Red Cross Society, and the Norwegian Shipping and Trade Mission. As a result of the Norwegian Sewing Circle's efforts a case of clothing had been forwarded to London for distribution in Norway, while a donation had been made to the Danish Sewing Circle. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. F. T. Rostgard; vicepresidents, Mrs. F. Sadgrove, Mr. P. Pedersen; secretary, Mr. K. Graae; treasurer. Miss A. Olsen; committee. Messrs. E. V. Holmes, K. W. Larsen, F.. Peterson, Mesdames J. Carlsson, E. Clements, O. Garden, G. Graham.
