CONFIDENT MARKET CEMEXT SHARES POPULAR - | A firm, confident tone again ruled on ■ the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day, with ' buyers prepared to accept late rates and | sometimes go further. Keen interest was taken in Wilsons Cement shares, and : another rise was registered, bringing them '■ to 19/3, a gain of 6d since the beginning of the month. In the banking section I New Zealands were again shaded. Sup- ■ port for K.D.V. Boxes weakened on news of the fire, but holders were unmoved. • Offers were raised for Kauri Timbers and New Zealand Newspapers among other industrials. All Government issues were very tightly held.
