DAYLIGHT BURGLARY
In broad daylight*, the home of Mr. and. Mrs. E. Muir, Koraha Street, Remuera, was broken into, and a suit of clothes,, a gold.wristlet watch and a camera, to the total value of about £40, were stolen. The articles were taken from a bedroom, after the thief had entered the house by the bathroom window, all the doors being locked. Two jars of face-cream which had stood on the bathroom window-sill were found in a paddock near the house. At the time of the robbery Mrs. Muir was visiting her parents' home, directly opposite her own home.
