"TOKYO RIOTS"
FINNISH REPORT 400 Stated To Have Been Killed Or Injured N.Z. Press Association—Copyright Rec. 2 p.m. LONDON, July 12. Serious disturbances have broken out in Tokyo, according to Finnish radw, quoting radio reports heard m Stockholm (Sweden). The reports stated that 10,000 persons tried to occupy Government buildings and penetrate into the Imperial Palace, also that the Japanese authorities, following fierce clashes, dispersed the crowds after 400 persons had been killed or injured.
