CHILD BADLY BURNED
NIGHTDRESS CAUGHT ALIGHT O.C. PALMERSTON N., this day. Severe burns and shock were suffered by the two-and-a-half-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Gardner, of Pahiatua, when her nightdress caught alight through coming in contact With an electric radiator in front of which she was sitting. The mother acted promptly and smothered the flames with a blanket. The child is progressing satisfactorily in hospital.
