BBIDGER.—On July 11, at his home Louvain Street, Whakatane, Arthur Edgar, loved husband of Catherine, and father of Gretchen, Don, Bill, Plesance and Pat. The funeral will leave St. George's Church, on Friday, 13th, at 2 p.m., for the Whakatane Hill Cemetery. DAVIES.—On July 11, 1345, at Auckland Hospital, after a long illness endured with Christian fortitude. Edna, beloved wife of Hugh William Davies, 35, Blockhouse Bay Road, and loving mother of Jessie (Mrs. Fiummer), Myrtle (Mrs. Edwards), Elsie (Mrs. Holt), Grace (Mrs. Sharp), and Reginald (Second N.Z.E.P., overseas), and beloved sister of Mrs. P. Halliwell (Glsborne); in her flfty.-seventh year. At rest. A service will be held at W. H. Tongue and Son's Chapel to-morrow (Friday), at 1.45 p.m., funeral then leaving for Waikumete Cemetery.
