The annual smoko of the club, held In the old Panmure school last Saturday, attracted a good attendance, about 70 ex-servicemen and friends being present. Captain White, the patron of the club, presided and representatives from the Auckland R.S.A., kindred clubs and local organisations were present. A good programme of first class entertainment was arranged by Mr. T. Bater.
The Women's Auxiliary held a successful card evening for funds recently and it is hoped to hold another in a week or so, when due notice will be given.
