CLUBS AND SOCIETIES
Catholic Women's League.—ln the absence of the president, Mrs. C. P. Stichbury presided at the recent "At Home." The speaker for the evening was the Rev. Father McKeefry, who spoke on "Treaties and Conferences," instancing the Atlantic Charter, Dumbarton Oaks and San Francisco among others. An enjoyable musical programme was presented.
Pemvomen's Club. —Two songs composed by Mrs. Florence Broad were sung by Mrs. Rhys Davies at the July meeting. A talk on "AngloAmerican Relations" by Mrs. Victor Macky showed clearly the necessity and desirability of friendly relations, and understanding between ' these two great nations. Mrs. Una Craig presided.
