SUSPECTED "REFUGEES"
LONDON, June 26. The complaint that -all German and Austrian refugees in Australia have been treated as suspected persons by the public and people in important positions is made in a letter published in the Manchester Guardian. ... .
The letter was written in Australia, and is signed' "One of Them."
"Many Jewish refugees sent to Australia on the ill-fated Dunera remained interned for from three to four years," says the writer. "The fact that they are completely innocent persons seems to have been made clear to the Australian authorities, but never made clear to the Australian public.
