PROPOSED VISIT
SYDNEY .LEAGUE TEAM A proposal by the Balmain Club, of Sydney, to send a senior team to Auckland later in the season to play a series of matches, will be discussed by the Board of Control of the Auckland Rugby League at its next meeting.
The Balmain senior team won the championship in Sydney last year, and five of its players were in the New South Wales team which played Queensland recently. In a letter to the Auckland League, it is stated that the Balmain team could leave for Auckland after September 15. , ■ The Auckland Rugby League has replied asked if the essential travel arrangements can be made.
