TO STAND TRIAL
JOYCE ON TREASON CHARGE
LONDON, June 28. William Joyce appeared again at Bow Street Police Court, London, to-day and was committed for trial at the Central Criminal Court on a charge of high treason. The magistrate, Sir Bertrand Watson, agreed to grant a defence certificate. "I think it is a proper case for full counsel," he said. This was Joyce's third appearance in the dock and the 50 people m the gallery saw him for only 90 seconds. Among them was a British corporal who had travelled specially from Aldershot last night so as to be first in the queue.
