Mr. P. B. Wright will return from Wellington to-morrow after attending a sitting of the Public Service Appeal Board. Mr. H. A. Wild, assistant subcollector of Customs at Auckland, has retired after 43 years' service with the Department. Captain H. A. Anderson, wharf superintendent for the Union Steam Ship Company for the last 22 years, has been transferred on promotion to Wellington. Captain J. G. Warren, formerly of . Wellington, will succeed Captain Anderson at Auckland.
