Captain R. S. Judson, who won the V.C., D.C.M. and M.M. in the Great War, has been promoted to major. A member of the New Zealand Staff Corps for many years, he was recalled for service in the New Zealand Temporary Staff on the outbreak of war. Major Judson is a member of the Auckland City Council and Auckland Transport Board.
