MINING ISSUES ADVANCE

Strong, buoyant conditions again marked business on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day. Banking issues, under a firm demand, displayed an improved tone with the exception of Unions, which dropped back slightly under selling pressure. Miscellaneous shares and industrials were well supported, with values little changed. In the mining section fur-, ther progress was made by Marthas and Mount Lvells on a total turnover of 000 shares.
