FERRY COMPANY FOUNDER appreciation of great work Feeling comment on the recent death of one of the founders of trans-harbour traffic, the Hon. _E. W. Alison, was made by the chairman, Sir Ernest Davis, at the annual meeting to-day of the Devonport Steam Ferry Co., Ltd. "

"I therefore desire to move that this meeting of shareholders of the Devonport Steam Ferry Co., Ltd. convey to his relatives our sincere sympathy in their bereavement, and our appreciation of his great work for this company in the past."
