VALUE OF A FARM
DECISION OF COMMITTEE
O.C. HAMILTON, this day. The South Auckland Land Sales Committee has given its reserved decision in an application regarding a farm of 118 acres at Ngahinepouri owned by the McMinn Estate. The application was for approval of sale at £3503, the value placed by the State Advances Corporation. The vendors proposed to sell at £3850, a figure on which the Valuation Department had agreed for death duty purposes. An adjournment was granted last week to enable representatives of the two Departments to confer. This conference failed and the committee has accepted the valuation of the State Advances Corporation.
