OPEN BILLIARDS TITLE
A break of 90 was made by R. Whitford in defeating J. P. Donahue in the third round of the Auckland open provincial billiards championship last night. Whitford won by 500 to 307. His other best breaks "were 38 (twice) and 31. Donahue's best breaks were 36 and 44.
