SHORT STORY CONTEST
We remind readers that the June short story contest closes on Saturday week, the 30th. A prize of 5/ awaits the boy or girl who sends in the best original story by that date. Remember, all work must be entirely your own, and must not exceed 600 words. State your name, age and address, and post to Peter Pan and Wendy, Star Office, Box 1409, Auckland. Criticisms for those who ask for them, and whose work is not published. Let's see if this can be an especially good contest, boys and girls! Put on your thinking caps, burn your inspiration, and send in a big crop of really good stories, preferably, but not necessarily, with a New Zealand setting.
