OBITUARY
MR. P. A. CLEVELAND Secretary of the Typographical Union for 42 years, Mr. Frederick Augustus Cleveland has died at the age of 87 years. He was for 27 years a compositor and reader on the staff of the Auckland Star. He was at one time vice-president of his union, and worked for many years in its Interest after his retirement. Mr. Cleveland was a well-known member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by six children.
MR. J. MARRA
A well-known stock buyer, Mr. John Marra, has died in Auckland. He was born in Christchurch, and later went to Taranakl and took up farming. In 1910 he became a stock buyer, and continued with that woi%k until his retirement five years ago. Mr. Marra, who was a prominent judge of stock at agricultural shows, is survived by his wife and five children.
