BOY CRUSHED TO DEATH
O.C. WANGANUI, this day. Fatal injuries were received by Morgan Ngatoa, aged 16, of Matahiwi Landing, 35 miles from Wanganui, when a horse he was riding slipped and rolled back on him. The accidant occurred on a steep slope, which was very slippery after rain. The boy's body was not discovered until the following morning, when it was found lying in some scrub near the track and the horse was wandering nearby.
