TO VISIT BREWERIES?
REQUEST TO COMMISSION
A request by New Zealand Breweries that members, of the Royal Commission on Licensing visit the, bottle washing department and seeathe machinery in operation ,at the Captain Cook Brewery, which' bottled for both, the Lion and Captain Cook breweries, was put before the commission by Mr. P. B. Cooke, K.C., representing the National Council of the Licensed Trade of New Zealand, this morning. Mr. Cooke also stated that Dominion Breweries asked that the commission visit their brewery at Otahuhu. Mr. Justice Smith, chairman of the commission, stated that the matter would be considered•■•.by. the commission.
