KEYS—OVERY BRIDE WEARS IVORY SATIN The marriage took place at St. Andrews Church Epsom, on Friday of Ellice only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Overy, of 21 Golf Road, Epsom, to Charles Edward, second son of Mr. and the late Mrs. H. E. Keys, of Papanui, Christchurch.

The Rev. E. P. de L. Willis officiated. The bridegroom recently returned after nearly four and half years' active service in the Mediterranean war theatre with the New Zealand Medical Corps. The bride was on the teaching staff of Te Puna School, Tauranga. Escorted by her father, the bride entered the church wearing a gown of ivory satin cut on classical lihes with fitting sleeves and a full skirt. The long train was inset with lovers' knots of lace, and the tulle embroidered veil was caught to the head with a top-knot of orchids and carnations. Her bouqtiet or orchids chrj r santhemums and carnations completed a charming toilette. Bridesmaids were the Misses Edna Galbally and Doris Gordon each gowned in powder 'blue crepe trimmed with ruffles. They wore top- | knots of chrysanthemums and pink carnations and carried bouquets of the same blooms.

Mr. H. T. Johnson, also recently returned from active service, officiated as best man, and Mr. L. W. Keys, younger brother of the groom, was groomsman. A large marquee at the home of the bride's parents was the setting for the reception. Where Mrs. Overy received more than 60 guests. She was assisted by the bridegroom's sister, Miss May Keys.
