INTOXICATED DRIVER

O.C. KAWAKAWA, this day. Admitting being intoxicated in charge of a motor vehicle, Paki Smith, of Karetu, was fined £15 at Kawakawa. Smith backed a motor van on to the Gillies' Street footpath, breaking the window of a shoe store. For driving without a license he was fined £1 end costs. He was allowed two months in which to pay.
