PAYMENT IN CASH
FULL PRICE FOB WOOL
WELLINGTON, Friday. It was announced to-night by the Minister of Finance, Mr. Nash, that in the changed circumstances now existing a decision had been reached to pay to woolgrowers in cash the full price for greasy wool from the 1944-45' clip. This means that the 10 per cent of appraisal value held back will be paid in cash as soon as practicable after the close of the wool season. Previously under other circumstances a portion of the amount had been paid in the form of war loan securities.
