American Attacks In China And On Jap Mainland ARSENAL NEAR TOKYO BOMBED Rec. 11 a.m. NEW YORK, April 30. The Associated Press correspondent on Guam says that more than 100 Super Fortresses attacked the army arsenal at Tachikawa, 24 miles west of Tokyo. Six small fleets of Super Fortresses raided the Kyushu airfield. A Fourteenth Air Force communique says that fighters on Saturday killed hundreds of Japanese in attacks on the central. China front. They hit the Japanese headquarters and also an aerodrome near Paoching. Liberators sank a freighter in Samah Bay. off Hainan Island. Mitchells and Thunderbolts struck at railway yards and barracks in the Yellow Sea area.
