SLIPPER SATIN WORN The wedding took place on Saturday evening at the Pitt Street Methodist Church, of Edward. Anderson, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Anderson, of Wynyard Road, Mount Eden, to Colleen Merriman, youngest daughter of Mr. J. Merriman, Te Puke. The bride, who was given away by Mr. E. Her veil of embossed tulle was held in place by an Elizabethan halo and she carried a bouquet of mixed flowers. The chief bridesmaid, Miss Olga Gawn, was in blue floral organdie made with a low waist, and Miss Pat McPike was in pink floral organdie. On their heads they wore flowers to match the carnations and roses in their bouquets. The best man was Mr. G. Anderson, brother of the groom, and the groomsman was Mr. I. Johnson. At the reception which followed the guests were received by Mrs. J. H. Bennett, sister of the bride assisted by Mrs. Anderson.
