ALLEN.—On April 30, 1945, Alfred Daniel, dearly loved eldest son of Mrs. E. M. Dlckson and

the late Alfred Allen, Karangahake, and loved brother of Agnes, Velma, Zoe, Gordon and Charles; aged 32 years. Peace, perfect peace. A service will be held at Watney Sibun and Sons , Chapel, Khyber Pass, Newmarket, at 3.30 to-morrow (Tuesday), the funeral then leaving for the Crematorium. BOYLE.—On April 29 (suddenly), at Auckland Hospital, Philip, Reg. No. 12/1895, Great War, dearly loved husband of Flo, of 22a, Oakley Avenue, Avondale, and loving father of Marion, Billy, Norma, Mac and Don; aged 55 years. Eervice will bo held at J. FRANKLIN.—On April 29, 1045, at a private hospital, Gilbert Thomas James, dearly loved youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Franklin, of Oamaru, loved friend ol Mrs. Hay and Nellie, and dearest fiance of Hazel, .
