MR. HOLLAND IN LONDON
Prior to his departure fqr overseas, the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Holland, interviewed a large number of commercial organisations in the Dominion relative to British trading conditions. A cable received by a prominent Auckland business man from Mr. Holland yesterday stated that he had addressed a meeting of London representatives of Dominion firms in the London Chamber of Commerce. His cable read:—"Splendid meeting London Chamber Commerce. Very large attendance. Most gratifying reception. Have seen Savage. The Mr. Savage referred to is the principal of a large textile firm and also an important member of various control boards. He was a recent visitor to the Dominion. .
