CARLAW PARK TAKINGS
It was reported at a meeting of the Auckland Rugby League that the gate-takings at Carlaw Park for the first two Saturdays of this season were more than double the amount for the corresponding period of last season. The chairman, Mr. J. W. Watson, said that it was an augury of a successful season, and showed the great interest being taken in sport.
