LEAGUE CODE
REP. PROGRAMME MATCHES IN AUCKLAND Representative matches were discussed at a meeting of the board of control of the Auckland Rugby League last evening. Mr. ,T. W. Watson presided. The South Auckland League advised that it was endeavouring to arrange for the Wellington and West Coast representative teams to play at HuntJy after playing in Auckland. The proposed dates for representative matches in Auckland during the season are:—June 9. South Auckland; July 21, Wellington; August 4, West Coast; October 6, North v. South. Auckland is to play Wellington, at Wellington, on September 8, and South Auckland, at Huntly, on September 22. The following representative selectors were appointed:—Messrs. J. Clark, J. Kirwan, and A. McGregor. It was announced that the New Zealand representative. G. O. Mitchell, would play for Ponsonby, the chairman stating that the Richmond Club had raised no further objection. Saturday Fixtures Senior fixtures for Saturday are:—Mount Albert v. Manukau. Carlaw Park. No. 1, 1.40. Mr. E. Pope; Otahuhu v. Marist, Carlaw Pa:k No. 1, 3.0. Mr. H. Tate; City v. Ponsonby, Carlaw Park No. 2. 1.40, Mr. S. Billman; Richmond v. Newton, Carlaw Park No. 2, 3.0. Mr. H. Hobman: Point Chevalier v. North Shore, at Devonpott, 3.0. Mr. G. Kelly. Players Registered The following players were registered:—E. P. Smith. D. R. Tierncy, J. Brown. W. Hunla, F. R. Calderbank, Newton; T. Masters. K. Honiana. Manukau.
