ST. GEORGE'S DAY
CHURCH PARADE AXD SERVICE Members of the Royal Society of St. George, the St. John Ambulance Brigade, the W.A.A.C, the W.A.A.F., the Boy Scouts' Association and Red Cross Voluntary Aids took part in a church parade on Sunday to commemorate St: George's Day. The ■ parade left Newmarket accompanied by the Papakura Military Camp Band and the Auckland District Pipe Band. Divine service was held at St. Mary's Cathedral, where the sermon was delivered by Archbishop Averill and the lesion read by Mr. P. Heath Preest, president of the Royal Society of St. George.
