GENERAL FREYBERG'S PRAISE PA. WELLINGTON, Sunday. 'The Minister of Defence, Mr Jones, after welcoming home a draft of returning men which recently arrived in New Zealand, said he had received a message from General Sir Bernard Freyberg stating that he was"highly satisfied with the replacement drafts who had gone to the Middle East to take the place of the returning veterans.
