MIDDLE EAST RUGBY
At the close of. the Middle -East Rugby season, the New Zealand Maadi Base team had a win and a loss in its last two games, beating an English side 19—6 and losing to a Welsh team 9—14. Wales and South Africa will now play off for the Middle East championship. Had New Zealand beaten Wales. South Africa which had a two point lead, would have won the championship outright.
