BRIDE IN HYACINTH BLUE

The marriage took place quietly this morning at St. David's Church, Khyber Pass, of Mrs. Gwen Campbell, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Gager, of Hikurangi, and % Captain R. J. Gilmore, British Army (on furlough), eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Gilmore, of the Savings Bank, Newmarket. The Rev. W. Bower Black- officiated.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a suit of hyacinth blue jersey, with openwork pockets in the same material. Her halo hat light navy with blue relief, and she wore a spray of apricot roses.

The best man was Corporal G. Gilmore, R.N.Z.A.F., brother of the bridegroom.
