Propelling machinery supplied by the North Eastern Marine Engineering Company, consists of one set of direct-acting surface-condensing, triple expansion engines, of the makers' most modern and improved design. Engine-room auxiliaries comprise evaporator, auxiliary condenser, feed heater- and feed filter. Two electrical generating sets have also been supplied.
