FROM WAIKATO RACES
HORSE TRANSPORT PROBLEM O.C. HAMILTON, this day. Withdrawals from the Waikato races, to be run at Te Rapa to-morrow, were numerous to-day, due to the difficulty of securing transport for horses. Those affected up to 1.30 were:— Juvenile Handicap.—Balmacara, 12.15 p.m.; General Lytup, 1.5; Toomula, 1-15; Freezing Point, 1.30. Storey Memorial.—Te Kiwi, 12.15; Waiting, 1.30. President's Handicap.—Tempest, 1.5. Beerscourt Handicap.—Black Reynard. 1.5; Lord Ruler, 9.55 a.m.; Hunting Park, 1.30. Whatawhata Handicap.—Tilting, 11.45 a.m. Hurdles.—Besiege, 9.55 a.m. Puketaha Handicap.—St. Leon, 1.30. Unlikely starters are Coronaire, Cambria and Lou Rosa.
